Review of Park Hyatt Melbourne
This was my first time staying at a Hyatt hotel, and with high expectations, I booked a two-night stay in the Club Lounge Suite. The experience exceeded my expectations.
The room was immaculate and impressively spacious. The bathroom was a standout, meticulously clean, and featured a small television—an unexpected yet delightful touch that enhanced my relaxation. Very good for a soapy massage.
The front desk staff were warm, approachable, and made the check-in process seamless. The Club Lounge on the 19th floor was another highlight, offering breathtaking views and a cozy atmosphere. It was the perfect place to unwind, thanks to the friendly and professional hostesses. The food offerings in the lounge, both savory and sweet, were some of the best I’ve encountered.
The only letdown was the breakfast served in the main dining area downstairs. While it included the classic bacon and eggs, the selection lacked creativity and didn’t stand out. That said, the bacon alone was satisfying enough for me!
Verdict:
The Park Hyatt Melbourne offers a delightful mix of comfort, exceptional service, and luxury. I wholeheartedly recommend it for anyone seeking a top-tier hotel experience.

Review of Hotel Pan Pacific Melbourne
This was my second visit to the Hotel Pan Pacific Melbourne—my first was back when it was known as Hilton Melbourne South Wharf. During that initial stay, the hotel was newly opened and had a few teething issues. However, I decided to give it another shot, and I’m glad I did.
The front desk staff were friendly and efficient, making the check-in process smooth and welcoming. My room was modern, well-equipped, and designed for comfort, making it ideal for a relaxing stay. The bed was very good , excellent to have a sensual massage on it. Room service was prompt and efficient, adding to the overall convenience.
One standout feature was the tapas bar on the ground floor—a fantastic spot to relax before my long flight home. Unfortunately, the Club Lounge was a disappointment. The breakfast selection was limited and lacked variety, falling short of the standards I was hoping for.
Verdict:
The Hotel Pan Pacific Melbourne has made significant improvements since my first visit and remains a solid choice for travelers. While the Club Lounge could use some upgrades, the hotel’s modern design and excellent service make it a comfortable and reliable option.
